The Board of Directors of the Town of Cobourg Holdings Inc. (HOLDCO) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its search for Directors to join the Boards of HOLDCO and of it subsidiaries Lakefront Utility Services Inc. (LUSI) and Lakefront Utilities Inc. (LUI). As a result of a broadly advertised search, thirty-seven applications were received from candidates with a wide range of skills and experience. Based on resumes, interviews and reference checks, it was determined that four candidates best met the requirements.

At its meeting of April 8, 2019, Cobourg Council appointed David Tsubouchi and Paul House to the Board of Directors of Holdco for terms commencing May 1st 2019.

David Tsubouchi, B. A., J.D., L.L.D, D.S. Litt., C.Dir., currently a Director of LUI, has served as the CEO and Registrar of the Ontario College of Trades, as Chair and Director of the OMERS Appeal Board, as a Director of The Women’s College Hospital Board, and as a municipal Councillor, MPP and Cabinet Minister.

Paul House, P. Eng., B. Eng., MSc., currently Director of Operations at Horizon Plastics International in Cobourg, has served as a Director and Chair of the Board of Entegrus Powerlines and has held various senior management positions including those at General Electric Canada, Siemens (Westinghouse) and International Truck and Engine.

At its meeting of April 17, 2019, HOLDCO appointed Robert M. Bell to the Board of Directors of LUSI and Lisa Milne to the Board of Directors of LUI for terms commencing May 1st 2019.

Robert Bell, B. Sc., M.B.A., President and Director of Applied Precision Inc. (3D Digitizing Systems and Services), was a Director and Vice-Chair of Guelph Hydro, having served in management positions at Centra Gas Ontario Inc. and as Project Manager at the Ontario Energy Board.

Lisa Milne, CPA, CGA, President and CEO of the Milne Management Group, was President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Westario Power Inc. and has served as a Board Member of Grey Bruce Health Services which oversees the operation of six hospitals.
