What happens if I don't sign up with a electricity provider?

You will continue to receive electricity at the wholesale market rate. This variable rate is provided to you by Lakefront Utilities Inc. as your default electricity provider.

If I sign up with an electricity provider, do I still need Lakefront Utilities Inc. services?

Lakefront Utilities Inc. will continue to provide the "delivery" of the energy from the electricity provider to you.

How do I know if I should sign up with an electricity provider?

Currently your cost of electricity is bundled all together including the energy and delivery to your door from the generating plant. Until the market opens it is difficult to determine how much of the bundled cost is energy. It is your decision to sign, be informed!
